The religious landscape in Canada is changing in the face of widespread migration and refugee movement. Whether the church is in North America or in the Middle East, its mission is cross-cultural. How do we engage our Muslim neighbours and coworkers in a way that authentically honours Christ?

This is one of the questions that moderator Professor Ken Herfst will ask panelists from Arabic and non-Arabic contexts at the Engaging Our Muslim Neighbours panel discussion. The panel is presented by Redeemer University College and Christian Reformed World Missions (CRWM).

“We’ll talk through differences in culture, like those we find in the food we share and in the ways we build friendships,” Herfst says.“We’ll also discuss Muslim spirituality,” says Greg Sinclair, panel co-host and CRWM Saalam 2.0 ministry leader, “including questions like, ‘Who is Jesus in a Muslim context?’”

We hope to see you in the Redeemer Auditorium on September 27th from 7 to 9 p.m.!
